Pushing the boundaries in 1980’s for Black musicians, especially Black female musicians to come into the mainstream, and going on to become one of the bestselling artists of all time, Whitney Houston was a bona fide legend. Dying of a drug overdose was a tragic way to end her life but some rumours persist that she may not have gone away at all. While some actually believe that Whitney was sacrificed to give Blue Ivy (Beyoncé’s daughter) her talents, many other subscribe to the fact that she may still be alive. The theory goes that in order to enjoy life, and not being able to be on top of the music scene currently, Houston faked her death. This way she could enjoy the millions earned without any prying eyes and scrutiny.
