When Sally Bergensen is the CEO of a Seattle-based athletic apparel company by women and only for women. She recently took to Twitter to share a body-shaming story from her childhood that had been hard to forget.Even she was only 12 then.
“Keep eating like that and you’re going to be a butterball,” her father had said to her, and now she’s encouraging other women to share their experiences of being body-shamed by using the hashtag #TheySaid.
