Keeping pets or raising farm animals is not that easy but is a full-time job. It requires a lot of time and energy to ensure that the animals are safe and healthy.
And after finding out that its too big a commitment, many people return the animals or adjust them in new homes. But a man from Ohio did not even do this, in fact he just left the animals on their own. via
The Brown County Humane Society from Georgetown, Ohio raided a farmhouse and discovered a total of 130 animals, who were starving and pent up in makeshift pens, covered in their own filth. And when the rescuers looked in the two pails of water left for the animals, they saw dead chicken floating in the green water.
After the complaint of a nieghbour about the smell coming the Deputy Warden became aware of the whole situation. The warden said,”I gave them four days to get things straightened up. When i came back they had done nothing, so i had to give them an ultimatum to surrender the animals or get charged.”
The animals, who have been all adopted now, were really happy to find their freedom. Ashmore said,”They were happy to be able to stretch their legs.”
