Its natural that you always attract people’s attention when you act out of the normal. Same can be said about the criminals and murderers who due to their horrific and frightful activities become the talk of the town. They mostly meet a tragic end.
The reactions and last words of these serial killers and murderers were quite diverse and included a wide range of emotions. While some of them repented over their past actions, there were others who remembered their families and loved ones. While some of the dare devils looked upon death sarcastically and made a joke out of it.
1. John Wayne:
John Wayne raped and murdered 33 boys. He was executed at the age of 52. Taking a sarcastic and egoistic view of life this serial killer’s last words were,”Kiss my ass”.
2. Ted Bundy:
Ted Bundy, was an American serial killer and murderer who kidnapped, raped and killed 100 women in 1970. When he sat on the electric chair his last words were,”I’d like you to give my love to my family and friends”.
3. Mario Benjamin Murphy:
A Mexican,who was guilty of killing a US officer, at the time of arrest Mario was 19 years old. He had beaten James Radcliffe with a steel pipe and stabbed him with a knife. He was executed with a lethal injection and his last words were,”Today is a good day to die. I forgive all of you. I hope God does too.
4. Marcel Petiot:
This French doctor and politician killed 60 people. He was arrested during the second world war when the remains of 23 people were found at his Paris home. His last words were,”Gentlemen, I have one piece of advice:Look away. This will not be pretty to see.”
5. James French:
James French was found guilty of killing his cell-mate. He was 30 years when he was executed on an electric chair. A moment before death, he jokingly said-“Hey fellas, How about this for a headline for tomorrow’s papers? French Fries.’
6. Carl Panzram:
Guilty of murdering at least 22 people and raping over 1000 he was convicted and hanged at age of 39. His last words were,”Hurry up you Hoosier bastard I could kill ten men while you are fooling around.”
7. Sean Flanagan:
Guilty of killing two gay men he was executed on 23rd June 1989. During his last moments remembering his beloved he said,”I love you.”
8. Tom Ketch um:
He killed several people but received death sentence for a train robbery.the age of 38 he was arrested in New Mexico on 26th April 1901. His last words were-I’ll be in Hell before you start breakfast boys. Let her rip.”
9. Clarence Lackey:
Lackey, a murderer from Texas abducted, raped and stabbed Toni Diane Kumph. Lackey was executed by lethal injection in Texas on 20th May 1997. His last words were-“I love you, Mom.”
10. Francis Crowley:
He killed several people at a very young age. He was convicted and sent to the electric chair when he was just 20. His last words were,”You sons of bitches. Give love to Mother.”
11. Jeffery Dahmer:
Guilty of raping and murdering 17 men. In Wisconsin prison he was beaten to death by a fellow prisoner on 28th November 1994. His last words were-“I don’t care if i live or die. Go ahead and kill me.”
