We all have our own perspective on life which might differ from the others, in fact this is the beauty of life. The opinion of one individual often differs from others as everyone has a different perspective of the same object. Thus it often happens that what is considered to be beautiful by one person may not be the same with the other. But the problem arises when we become judgmental and opinionated, we start labelling things and dividing them in categories. And it is this lack of understanding and acceptance that makes us ridicule the other person if he/she is slightly different from us.
What we fail to understand or accept is that inspite of these slight differences everyone has their own place and purpose in this world. God has created everyone equal but it is us, HUMANS, who fail to understand and accept this fact and deprive others of their rights. And this was the reason why the make-up artist Vinny Ohh decided to transform himself into a gender less alien.
For the last five years Vinny has under-gone many plastic surgeries to look like an alien and for this he has spent almost 50,000$ on his surgical procedures. So far he has had several nose forming surgeries and also some surgeries to fill in his cheeks and brow bone.
To undergo a further change Vinny Vinny has decided to wear large, black contact lenses, he will also change his hair and nail color and have his lips filled in. With all these changes his realization that so far he had been living a lie and this is his true self, is surfacing. Vinny has decided to spend as much as 160,000$ on his various surgeries.
But again questions are being raised on the morals of the doctors who are performing these surgeries. Another question is that there’s a possibility that at a later stage Vinny would regret these changes.
There are a number of people who feel the same as Vinny does, as if they belong to another world but the difference is that Vinny has spoken out and is making a statement of it to the public. Vinny has appeared in many interviews and is quite open about his surgeries saying that he feels he is hermaphrodite.
Vinny,s quest started when he was 17 years old but even now at 22 years he hasn’t been able to achieve his goal.
“When people ask me how I’d label myself, I tell them an “extra-terrestrial, hot mess, self-obsessed” it’s becoming my slogan,” Vinny explained. Speaking of his extreme physical transformation, he said. “I do it to inspire the world in a certain way; I want people to stop labeling others or putting them in boxes.”
Vinny said: ‘I didn’t like people labeling me, some people came up to me and said “you’re kind of like a Martian” and I thought I’d use that negativity and go with it and now I’ve adopted this whole alien vibe.
