The 42 year old Romanian artist Gabi Rizea creates incredible sculptures from wood and is well known in his country.
Three years ago Gabi discovered his talent for wood carving completely by accident so he bought new chainsaw and tried carving a human face into a wooden block. As the result was quite encouraging so the artist decided to practice his skills.
The local authorities of his home city of Craiova, allowed him to work on the old tree stumps in all the local parks and now his art is seen and loved by many people. Lets take a look at some of his work.
