Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, President Trump’s son-in-law and duaghter, are going to visit China before the President’s intended visit. It is intended to be a goodwill visit with the aim of bettering relations with China ensueing from the tension that arose after Trump’s remark that he had become “very disappointed in China.”
However with no experience in this field Ivanka and Jared may not be able to deal with the super-smart Chinese. And it is feared that instead of handling the whole situation and helping America, this whole affair might prove to be a set-back. However we see that in the Trump administration, Jared and Ivanka are going to act as the ‘National Security Adviser’ and there are chances that they will find it hard to deal with the Chinese. Using the term ‘old friend’ China will make them feel obliged to second China’s all on-going projects. Or they might give them this impression that they are very wise in deciding to over-rule them. In short both Ivanka and Jared would be at a loss as how to deal with the Chinese Diplomacy.
Now if Jared and Ivanka are under this impression that they could get all the guidance they need about China by talking with Henry Kissinger, who was a former ‘National Security Ad visor’, they might be slightly mistaken. If they read the ‘Chinese Political Negotiating Behavior’,by the late Richard Solomon who was one of Kissinger’s former aides, there’s a chance that they will be better guided.
