According to Trump’s new Immigration System its about time that foreigners stopped coming to America, they are unable to speak English properly or to read Marcel Proust, making things difficult for the native people.
But is this all a joke, English? Is it America’s native language? And isn’t Proust French?
And these immigrants. They are not stealing jobs from the Americans, they are simply doing new ones.
“But what,” the naysayers may continue naysaying, “about all the myriad diverse, essential contributions from non-native-English-speaking immigrants to our national economy, culture, and idea throughout history that have shaped and continue to shape our way of life?” There are so many contributions you just can’t say no to.
1. Who really needs to Google anything ever?
2. Or look anything up on Yahoo. Who needs web search these days?
3.The Pulitzer Prize? Named after a German-speaking immigrant?Don’t need an award for fake news anyway.
4. Speaking of German speaking immigrants, we could also leave or take the atomic bomb, to be honest.
5.And we could easily do without all 137 Terminator movies, and eight years of oversight for our largest state economy.
6.And Budweiser beer isn’t iconically American at all.
