We are often amazed at the people with unusual heights and marvel at their growth. Though it has not been scientifically or statistically proven but giants are said to have roamed this earth and there are claims that there are more male than female giants.
The reason given is that men turn out to be taller than women, by nature so if a woman turns out to be extremely tall it certainly catches our attention. Below is the list of some tallest women of today.
10. Maria Alexandrovna:
Maria Alexandrovna measures 6 feet 8 inches making her the tallest basket-ball player in America. she was the member of WNBA and the Phoenix Mercury in America.
9. Malee Duangdee:
According to the Guiness Book of Records Malee Duangdee was 6 feet 9 inches and was known as the tallest woman in the world. But she developed a chronic illness and sadly passed away at 24 years of age.
8. Heather Greene:
This lady measures upto 6 feet 5 inches which is about1.9 meters. Inspite of her height she is quite attractive.
7. Rita Miniva:
For an African woman, Rita’s height is quite intimidating. The former Zimbabwean and a U.S citizen now, has a height of 6 feet 8 inches.

Sandy Allen performed in the circus and was in the acting field also. Born in 1955 she was once considered to be the tallest woman,by the Guinness Book of World Records. She stood at the towering height of 7 feet 5.5 inches and no woman matched her height during her lifetime.
1. Zeng Jinlain:
Zeng Jinlain is the tallest woman to have ever lived. Born in 1964 she died at the young age of 18 years.
